ORCHARD
GARDENS
homeWORD recently held a public call for artists for the
central courtyard area of our Orchard Gardens development. The neighborhood
surrounding Orchard Gardens lies on the urban-rural fringe of Missoula,
an area that is still deeply rooted in the tradition of agriculture.
In tune with this theme, artists were asked to respond to the site
and themes of urban agriculture and food security. The proposals were
outstanding and the decision was difficult. Jason Gutzmer was chosen
to work with homeWORD, architects, and contractors to further design
the courtyard area. Coming soon: Jason's bio, vision, and ongoing
