ASSET-BUILDING VISION

For over ten years, staff of homeWORD’s Homeownership Center have been empowering individuals and families to move toward economic empowerment. Beginning with offering homebuyer education, our services have expanded over the years to incorporate a more holistic approach by offering financial fitness education, housing counseling and foreclosure prevention counseling in addition to homebuyer education. We build strong relationships with the clients we serve, through engendering trust, providing individualized support, and demonstrating a long term commitment as clients work toward their financial goals and homeownership. To offer the array of quality education and services we do, we collaborate with a diverse network of non-profit organizations, local government agencies, financial institutions, real estate agencies and social service agencies.
