25 Years of Changing the Lives of Montanans

This October we celebrated our 25th Anniversary at the beautiful Ten Spoon Winery in Missoula. Past and current staff, board members and supporters gathered to raise a glass and toast to the successes we’ve had together in strengthening Montana communities.

Ren Essene, our founding Director, joined us along with Maureen Rude from NeighborWorks Montana. Together, we shared Homeword’s origin story and set the stage for Homeword’s path to continue creating sustainable communities for all.

We also had the honor of hearing Karsten Campbell share about her confident decision to purchase a Montana Street home for her family because of opportunities you helped make possible.

This timeline illustrates our history and shows that, while our strategies have changed, the importance of empowering our neighbors has not.

Thank you for your support and partnership. Because of you, Montana families, Veterans and seniors are living in safe, healthy homes they can afford. Local workers are creating solid budgets and able to provide for their families. You are changing the lives of countless Montanans and we are so grateful.

To ensure we continue in strength, we have kicked off our Brighter Futures Campaign to raise $25,000 for our programs to empower 500 Montanans with financial confidence that will benefit them for years to come. Will you join us?

In gratitude,

Andrea Davis
