Ruth Reineking,
President, is Assistant Vice President of First
Interstate Bank. She manages loan collections, including workouts,
repossessions, foreclosure, bankruptcy and other legal actions
for the Missoula, Flathead and Great Falls/Helena offices of
First Interstate. Ruth has taught Financial Fitness classes for
homeWORD, and she has served on the board of directors of Missoula
Food Bank and West Slope Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
Joe Easton,
Vice President, is
President of 10M Investments, Inc., a real estate development and
investment firm. 10M Investments pursues rehabilitation and redevelopment
projects within urban cores. Joe is a Missoula native, with degrees
from the University of Oregon and University of Montana. Joe is
married to Erin Williams, and they have a toddler, Fiona Bea.
Rena Hansen,
Treasurer, has been a CPA with Boyle, Deveny & Meyer
since 1991 and became a partner in 2002. She was born and raised
near Darby,
Montana. Her practice focuses on business and individual tax preparation,
small business setup and consulting, and financial statement preparation.
Rena has been involved with several nonprofits including Fort Courage
Childcare, the Missoula Food Bank, Child Care Resources, Leadership
Missoula and Play Ball Missoula. She enjoys skiing, fishing, hiking,
Grizzly football and especially her little boy Connor.
Julie Maturen,
Secretary, is the Development Director
at YWCA Missoula whose mission is to eliminate racism and
empower women. She is responsible for all the fundraising
at YWCA. Prior to that she was the Membership and Annual
Fund Manager at the University of Michigan Museum of Art.
Julie is interested in affordable housing, especially for
single women and their children. She is married and has a
beautiful son, Greyson.
KD Dickinson is
Broker/Owner of Portico Real Estate in Missoula, a firm concerned
about our community, our environment and promoting sustainable
practices. KD has worked with NMCDC on their community land trust
projects and has a strong interest in affordable housing issues.
Jack Wade is
a certified broker for Montana and Idaho. Jack brings experience
and certifications
from the Council of Residential Specialists and Certified Commercial
Investment Member. He is a Board member to Lambros Community
Foundation as well as member of National Association of Homebuilders,
Missoula Building Association, Montana Landlord Association,
and Missoula Sustainable Business Council. Jack has years of
experience volunteering with non profits and will be an asset
to homeWORD’s Property Management Committee.
Forrest Senterfeit LEED
AP™ , is a construction manager specializing in commercial
building and renovation projects for the Federal Government. His
clients include Federal agencies such as; the US Forest Service,
the National Park Service and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Forrest
has a passion for energy-efficient and sustainable construction and
strives to incorporate both into his work. Originally from South
Carolina, Forrest moved to Missoula for the skiing and mountain biking.
He and his wife, Stacy, spend their free time following the sports
careers of their two young children, Sage and Rogge.
Mirtha Becerra is the
Transportation Information Specialist for the Missoula Office
of Planning and Grants where she has worked for more
than 5 years as a Planner. During her graduate school years
in Buffalo New York Mirtha worked for the Center for Urban
Studies on inner city neighborhood revitalization and community
and
economic development. Prior to moving to Missoula she worked
for the National Park Service in Washington DC on natural resource
preservation issues. Mirtha is a native of Chile where she
has worked on rural community development and environmental education/outreach.
Kim Shappee is Assistant Vice President of the Bank of Montana. Her role
includes working as a commercial lending specialist
and acting as the Creative Director for the Bank. Prior to returning
to her native Missoula, Kim worked in South Africa at the University
of Stellenbosch teaching Entrepreneurship and micro lending, and
in Boston at the Gillette Corporation in its Latin American Global
Business Development sector.
Kathy Headlee is
a Real Estate Loan Officer at Missoula Federal Credit Union’s
Downtown Branch. She has been in the business for the past 12
years and has been involved in numerous
organizations in the community, such as Missoula Building Industry
Association, Missoula Organization of Realtors, and Missoula Chamber
of Commerce. Kathy has served on the Missoula Businesswomen’s
Network Synergy Board as Treasurer for the past 6 years.
Dave Glaser is
the Business Consulting Manager at the Montana Community Development
Corporation in Missoula. MCDC is a non profit bank that provides
financing and business consulting with the goal of building
stronger community in Montana by engaging traditionally underserved
people in the economy. Dave works directly with new and established
small businesses to help them reach the next level of success.
Dave also serves as Board Vice President for the Wild Rockies
Field Institute. Dave and his wife Minette spend (just about)
every free minute with their infant twin daughters Isobel and
Sabine and are loving (almost) every bit of being parents.
Trent Baker is an attorney
at Datsopoulos, MacDonald & Lind, P.C. He received his Law
Degree and Masters in Environmental Studies from the University
of Montana. Trent is experienced in many areas of commercial,
real estate, landlord/tenant and personal injury law. Trent participates
in
several charitable and community organizations and non-profit
boards, and enjoys recreating in Montana’s mountains and
rivers with his wife, Kimberly, and two daughters, Elise and
Lucia.
Deb Halliday is
self-employed as an affordable housing and health care policy
analyst and political organizer.
Current clients include the Center for Budget and Policy Priorities,
where she works in Congressional districts across the nation on
federal reforms to Section 8 housing and the Low-income Housing
Tax Credit program; and two national health care advocacy organizations,
where she is helping launch statewide coalitions in Louisiana and
New Hampshire. The author of over eight studies on housing, health
care and the social safety net, Deb is also the happy mama of Mae
and Hannah and an aspiring bass guitar singer in a local rock-n-roll
band (working title: Stimulus Package).
