Financial Educator

Chelsea joined the team in 2025 as Homeword’s financial educator. In this role, she provides Financial Skill Building classes and one-on-one counseling. As a mother, she understands some of the financial challenges of raising a family in Montana, which fuels her passion for Homeword’s mission. She loves empowering people throughout the state to gain the skills and knowledge to plan for their financial futures.

Born and raised in Missoula, Chelsea has strong roots in the community. When she’s not helping others reach their financial goals, you can find her running training for her next 50-mile race. On the weekends, she also enjoys visiting the indoor waterpark and the Missoula Carousel with her boyfriend and son.

Chelsea graduated from Missoula College with an A.A.S. degree in medical information technology. Using her background in customer service and medical billing, she has a unique outlook on the importance of having trusted resources to turn to in tough situations. Chelsea has completed NeighborWorks America’s Foreclosure Basics as well as Homebuyer Education Methods, certifying her in homebuyer education delivery. She is also a HUD Certified Housing Counselor.
