Fundraising and Communications Intern

For the summer of 2025, Keaton has joined our team as our fundraising and communications intern. In this role, he supports fundraising and communications by contributing to donor data management, events, content creation and more. His work includes analyzing donor trends, cleaning up our donor data, helping out with our events and more, helping us grow our impact across Montana.

Born and raised in Frenchtown, Keaton has spent all 20 years of his life in Montana and is passionate about supporting the people and places that shaped him. He’s excited to find to share Homeword’s mission and values the hands-on learning that comes with being part of a collaborative team.

At work, Keaton brings a curious mindset and a strong visual eye. He has spent the last year and a half at Wear Your Roots in Missoula creating designs and assisting customers. Outside the office, you’ll likely find him hiking with his dog, Tucker, or playing volleyball or basketball with friends.

Keaton is a business marketing student at the University of Montana, pursuing certificates in sports and entertainment management as well as digital/graphic design. This internship is helping him deepen his skills in communication strategy, nonprofit outreach, event preparation and mission-driven fundraising.
