Tori Rushfeldt

she, her

Asset Project Manager

Tori first connected with Homeword as a property manager through our third-party management company, where she worked directly with many of the organization’s residential communities. Over time, she found herself drawn not just to the properties but also to the mission behind them. When the opportunity came to join Homeword directly, she was all in.

As the asset project manager, Tori leads capital improvement and rehab projects across the state, working closely with funding partners and residents to bring big-picture plans to life. She’s known for her front-end project planning, calm-in-the-chaos mindset and deep knowledge of the properties she now helps oversee. While she’s often behind the scenes making sure things run smoothly, her favorite moments are still ones where she gets to connect with residents and see positive change in their lives.

Tori’s passion for this work is personal. Growing up with housing insecurity shaped not only her resilience but also her drive to create lasting, positive impact for others. That lived experience shows up in everything she does.

Tori holds degrees in business management and psychology and is a LIHTC-certified licensed property manager. She’s always ready to take on more than just the task at hand. Outside of work, Tori’s cats are glued to her side, often even accompanying her on camping and road trips. She loves spending time outdoors and at home with Little Bear and Luna.
